September 6 - Building Success in North America Event hosted by Business West

I will be speaking at an event hosted by Business West related to expanding business in the US in the manufacturing and food and drink sectors. The manufacturing portion will be in the morning and the food and drink sector will be covered in the afternoon.

What you will experience?

The event will take place on board the Department for International Trade’s state of the art Export Hub. There will be a series of presentations covering the key States, where to find new sales opportunities, how to ship your products and any legal issues and requirements.

The presentations will be followed by a Q&A session to discuss your past export experiences, air any concerns and ask the speakers and fellow delegate’s specific questions.

Kirsten Chambers - Consul and Head of Trade & Investment based in New England, who has a wealth of on the ground experience helping UK businesses to expand into the US market.

David Brown - David was appointed Chief Executive Officer of The Bristol Port Company in 2016. Bristol Port remains the largest private and independently owned Port in the UK. It operates over a 2,600 acre estate with a hugely diverse portfolio of trades.

Tom Thorelli - The law firm of Thorelli & Associates specializes in working with small to medium sized European companies doing business in the US. Tom brings a huge amount of knowledge and experience about the US market.

Gary Baylis - As Director of Export Access, Gary has a wealth of knowledge and experience of dealing with exports and imports of all kinds to and from all regions of the world. He is on a mission to raise awareness of the important role played by logistics in international trade. Export Access is the official representative office in the UK & Ireland for Registrar Corp, which is the USA’s leading provider of regulatory compliance services for goods imported into the USA.

September 10 - Dutch Delegation Workshop in Chicago

Steven L. Wiser and Christina Coleman of our firm will be speaking at the Dutch Delegation Workshop at the Connectory (Merchandise Mart) on September 10th at 3:15pm. Steve will be speaking about the legal aspects of doing business in the US and setting up a company in the US. Christina will be discussing immigration matters.
